“I’ve built my own house, bought land, and can now support my family with health insurance.” 
We followed up with Elia, a welder at Gatebe Market Hub since 2020.

 
After completing a training course on welding, Elia came back home and saw Kinvest as the right place to start his business, as he appreciates low rent, stable electricity, and safe working space. 

Since then, he graduated from our Business Leadership Development Program and used his newfound skills in saving and investing to grow his business. Through our Lease To Own program, he also received a welding machine.  

Today, Elia serves 5 to 6 clients weekly, has hired one employee, and is proud to be creating jobs in his community. He has built his own house, bought land, and can now pay health insurance for his parents and siblings.  

Next, Elia plans to start farming for extra income and dreams of expanding his welding work to handle all types of materials beyond doors and windows.
