Meet Alice, the dedicated operator of our Gatebe Market Hub. Alice plays a vital role in fostering community growth by supporting local entrepreneurs and ensuring our facilities run seamlessly for all tenants. Alice’s commitment to uplifting those around her makes her an invaluable part of our team!

What drew you to the role of hub operator at Kinvest?

I was attracted to the hub operator role because Kinvests’ mission aligns with my values. I have seen my community benefit from business support and opportunities that help entrepreneurs grow and create jobs. I’m excited to have the chance to demonstrate how Kinvest positively impacts both the community and the country.

What’s a recent accomplishment you’re proud of in your work?

One of the accomplishments I’m proud of is that after completing the Business Leader Development Program, I encouraged people to form savings groups, which are still ongoing. Seeing the positive results from these groups makes me feel that my work with Kinvest and my contributions to the community have been worthwhile.

How do you support the entrepreneurs at the market hub?

I assist local entrepreneurs by building a good relationship with them at the market. I start by understanding their needs and perspectives. I remind them that I am also a fellow community member, and we work together to develop the local economy

What is your dream for the Gatebe community?

My dream for Gatebe is to see more businesses thrive and better infrastructure built. I believe this will create jobs, improve people’s living standards, and bring more opportunities for the community to grow and succeed together.
