International Day of Charity

Oct 13, 2023

On September 5th, we commemorate the International Day of Charity.

The United Nations General Assembly established the International Day of Charity to raise awareness and unite individuals, non-governmental organizations, and stakeholders worldwide toward helping others through volunteer and philanthropic initiatives.

This day was chosen in remembrance of the passing of Mother Teresa, the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize recipient. Her remarkable humanitarian work serves as an enduring inspiration.

The challenge of eradicating poverty in all facets is central to ensuring global sustainable development. To contribute to poverty alleviation efforts, charities can collaborate with developing communities and advocate for the rights of marginalized populations.

At Kinvest Impact Foundation, we partner with rural communities to identify and leverage their unique strengths, connecting them with transformative investment. By enabling local-led programs with sustainable infrastructure, we help break the cycle of poverty, fostering a resilient ecosystem that encourages self-sufficiency and lasting impact.

When you donate to Kinvest Impact Foundation, 100% of your contribution directly funds sustainable economic growth in rural Rwandan communities.

Make a lasting impact and catalyze holistic development in rural East Africa today.
