Access to clean and reliable water has been a long-standing challenge in rural Nyagatare. Over the past few years, we’ve taken major steps forward thanks to the support of partners and generous donors. We’ve improved water storage systems, drilled boreholes at identified sources, and installed solar-powered pumps to deliver water sustainably and reliably. These efforts have already brought clean water to key rural parts of the community, transforming daily life for many families. 

But the work is far from over. Some areas in Nyagatare still lack access to safe, nearby water. Families continue to walk long distances, and schools struggle to maintain sanitation. Our next phase involves drilling additional boreholes, expanding the solar pump systems, and building more water distribution points so that every household and every child can access clean water close to home. 

Clean water improves health, saves time, keeps children in school, and supports business growth. It provides dignity and creates opportunities for everyone. With your support, we can complete this project and make sure no one is left behind.
