Kinvest Impact Foundation beekeepers from Gatebe have joined forces with the Kinvest Farm to pursue a shared goal.

Earlier this year, the Kinvest Farm founded by Kinvest Venture Partners launched a passion fruit farming initiative and quickly saw how vital pollination is to improve yield. To support this, the Farm partnered with a group of local entrepreneurs from the Gatebe, who were graduates of Kinvest’s Business Leader Development Program, who specialize in beekeeping.

The beekeepers, organized as an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) group, agreed to relocate 30 of their hives to the Farm. The result? Better pollination for the fruit crops and a thriving site for honey production. A win-win for both sides. This month, the group celebrated their first successful honey harvest at the Farm, marking a key milestone in the partnership.
