Working Out Of The :

“We can now enroll all seven of our kids in school.”

Faith and her husband, John, own a restaurant at our Shimwa Paul Market Hub. The last time we caught up with Faith, she shared that their restaurant is thriving and employs three people from the local community.

Earlier this year, Faith and John started a new business: beekeeping. Using income from the restaurant, they established ten hives and have been selling honey. They started beekeeping because they recognized the local demand for honey, commonly used as a natural medicine.

After just three months, they have yielded an impressive 130% return on investment. This additional income allows Faith and John to cover their children’s school fees. They also plan to allocate their earnings from beekeeping toward growing beans, which will supply their restaurant.

When asked about their aspirations for the future, John expressed his desire to witness all their children graduating from university. He also envisions Shimwa Paul as a vibrant community where businesses flourish.

Faith and John’s dedication to securing the future of their family and fostering community growth is inspiring, and we look forward to witnessing their continued progress.
