Introducing Jean de Dieu, the newest addition to our team! Jean de Dieu joined us earlier this month as a Business Manager in Nyagatare. We asked him a few questions to get to know him and understand his role at Kinvest. 

Can you tell us about your role at Kinvest?   

I assumed the role of Business Manager at Kinvest in Nyagatare to foster consistent growth of Kinvest’s services. My primary focus will be to raise awareness about our Tujyane transportation initiative for local entrepreneurs and farmers. Ensuring a consistently high standard of service will be my top priority across each of our services, market hubs, and equipment financing initiatives.   

What led you to Kinvest?    

Kinvest profoundly impacts people’s lives in rural parts of Rwanda, and I was eager to participate. My passion lies in facilitating progress within local villages supporting their growth and development. I look forward to collaborating with aspiring entrepreneurs, enabling them to shift from a survival-oriented mindset to one focused on growth.    

What new initiatives are you excited to implement through your role at Kinvest?   

As I step into this position, a primary initiative is installing signposts outside every market hub. This will enhance our marketing and improve foot traffic growth, attracting more local customers for our tenants. I also want to expand the promotion of our Tujyane service to more communities in Nyagatare, given its significant potential to impact the lives of local entrepreneurs and farmers.    

What do you appreciate most about the culture at Kinvest?    

I appreciate that Kinvest encourages teamwork and connection between its employees. People truly care for each other here and treat each other with respect. Additionally, I value management’s commitment to promoting open communication and valuing the input and ideas of employees. It’s meaningful to me that I can express my thoughts and contribute here.
