Ejo Heza, our Asset-Based Community Development group in Shimwa Paul, is making impressive strides! When we last spoke with the group, they had only two pigs. Now, they have over 20 healthy, growing piglets!  

Since beginning their journey in March, the group has focused on pig farming for its cost-effectiveness and profitability. They meet weekly to save and plan, ensuring they can cover daily farming costs and save funds for future expansion.  

With the birth of these new piglets, Ejo Heza is making significant progress toward its mission of strengthening the local community. This milestone brings them closer to creating lasting opportunities for individuals to thrive through pig farming and sustainable business practices.
